Josiane Bourré-Tessier, M.D.

Dr. Bourré-Tessier studied medicine at Université de Montréal.


She holds a Master's degree in biomedical sciences (research) and a specialization in connectivites from McGill University. She is a member of the CHUM Rheumatology Department and an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine of Université de Montréal.

Jean-Pierre Pelletier, M.D.

Professor, Faculty of Medicine, Université de Montréal.

  • Co-Chair, Chair in Osteoarthritis at Université de Montréal.

  • Dr. Pelletier is an internationally recognized authority for his clinical expertise and research activities in the field of osteoarthritis. His main interest lies in the development of new curative therapies against osteoarthritis and in contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of patients suffering from this disease.

Clinical Assistant Professor at  Université de Montréal.


Rheumatologist at the Montreal Rheumatology Institute and CHUM since 1993. He completed a three-year postdoctoral training in Rheumatology Epidemiology at the Medical Center, Department of Immunology and Rheumatology at Stanford University, California. His main research interests focuses on the evaluation of new investigation and treatment techniques in the areas of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.

Marie-Anaïs Rémillard, M.D.

Dr. Marie-Anaïs Rémillard studied rheumatology at Université de Sherbrooke from 2005 to 2007. She worked from 2007 to 2012 at Charles-Lemoyne Hospital. She has been working at the Institute of rheumatology since 2012.  Her field of interest is osteoporosis.

Édith Villeneuve, M.D.

Dr. Villeneuve completed her specialty in rheumatology at Université de Montréal in 2006, and completed complementary training in early rheumatoid arthritis at the University of Leeds in England. Her research interests are the management and optimal treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
